'The Pledge'
(CNSNews.com) - Imagine a group of high school students complaining about the Pledge of Allegiance because, they say, their school is denying them the opportunity to say it. A small group of students at Boulder High School in Colorado is fired up about a plan to schedule recitation of the Pledge at 7:22 a.m. -- eight minutes before the start of the official school day, the Rocky Mountain News reported. The students say the Pledge should be recited when the bell rings at 7:30 a.m. Principal Ron Cabrera is quoted as saying that "people make time for things they want to do," and students who think the Pledge is important will show up eight minutes early.
