Senate Deal Struck

PoliPundit says,

The 7 deal-making Democrats have promised not to filibuster, except in 'extraordinary circumstances.'

And makes these two predictions:

Prediction 1: If a Supreme Court nominee is to the right of Karl Marx, these Democrats will filibuster him or her.

Prediction 2: If the Democrats ever manage to become a majority in the Senate, they will employ the “nuclear option.”

The Dems won this fight. The elephants blinked. I agree with both of these predictions and posted earlier, here, that it's just a matter of time before the Dems regain the Senate and they will have no compunction in invoking the nuclear option.
