"€œGod willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon experience a world
without the United States and Zionism."€ -- Iran President Ahmadi-Nejad

"Bean-counting government bureaucrats are free to take race, ethnicity and gender into account when doling out public funds to non-white-male contractors. But God help law enforcement officers, air marshals and border agents who try to use those same factors to combat terrorism and protect American lives."

  • Ah yes, just so. And how is that we find ourselves in this sad state? I propose that a big reason is the left's obsession with what they perceive as their compassion, exclusively fueled and justified by feelings and deliberately devoid of thought and logic. They can not be logically dissuaded from a position they have attained emotionally, especially when the real ulterior motive for that position is not magnanimity but self-absorbtion

  • Yes, yes. Self-asorbtion, narcissism, whatever you want to call it. To reach them and dissuade them for their delusional thought, you have to get them to set their emotions aside, and think rationally. Not an easy task for them to do.

The most recent example (of which there are many) is the Bush-bashing over hurricane Katrina. It's his fault (ie., global warming).

He hasn't acted quick enough. There should have been plans already made and in place before the storm hit.

It doesn't matter that had the national guards and various rescue organizations been down there, they too would be in the victim category now.

And what? Have large shipping vessels sitting on dry land awaiting for the flooding to begin?

It makes no sense, but refer back to my opening paragraph. Any nitwit can see the faulty logic in this thinking, but unbridled emotion makes it impossible.
