Gunmen Attack Contractors on Louisianna Bridge

Police shot at eight people carrying guns, and killed at least five people Sunday after gunmen opened fire on a group of contractors traveling across a bridge that spans a canal connecting Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River while on their way to make repairs.

Fourteen contractors were on their way to launch barges into Lake Pontchartrain to help plug the breach in the 17th Street Canal, and as they were traveling across the Danziger Bridge under police escort, they came under fire. None of the contractors was killed.

I am sure the attackers were just angry voters - right Rev. Sharpton?
