I've Made This Point Before

"It is only a matter of hours now that, after any catastrophe anywhere in the world—a tsunami, a hurricane, a terrorist bombing on the London tube—Bush haters find ways to blame President Bush. Hurricane Katrina? Bush haters have pointed their fingers at global warming, the war on terror, the Bush tax cuts, the national dependence on oil—and in every category, Bush is the root of the evil. Forget nature. George W. Bush is more powerful." ---Debra Saunders

HeavyHanded has wondered, even asked others, if President Bush is really this powerful, why would anyone in their right mind, criticize him the way the left does? You wouldn't like his response. You certainly would not live to talk about it. One day, while on your way to [work?] you would be vaporized.

  • The good news may be in the CNN/Gallop poll that showed only 13% of the respondents are buying the nonsense that Bush is primarily responsible for all that has gone wrong in New Orleans following Katrina. At some point this ‘everything is Bush’s fault’ idiocy has got to be regurgitated back into their faces.

  • Yes, I agree. I too saw and heard that the polls were showing the populace was not falling for this garbage.

You will always have that 10-15%, no matter how absurd the the poll question is, that will respond in the affirmative. That's just the nature of things.
