WHY WOULD THEY?

In an article in The Washington Times, they note that the press has been giving so much attention to the generally mixed reviews that Judge Alito is getting by the senate Dems and the liberal Republicans, that they have mostly ignored that Senate conservatives praise Alito, and the fact that he has been receiving an enthusiastic applause from conservatives.

It does not suit their greater purpose by giving fair, objective coverage to both his detractors and his supporters. "We report, you decide." (?) Hardly.
