Managing relations with the tech powers of Taiwan and China will become trickier than ever for the United States as it aims to maintain dominance in the industry without irritating the two quarreling countries divided by the Taiwan Strait, experts said Thursday.

That was a major theme discussed at the U.S.-Taiwan Business Council conference in Santa Clara, California, focusing on how politics and business practices impact the semiconductor industry in the three countries.
