Abdul Rahman

I posted on this topic earlier and I agree with this comment from The Patriot Post:

"Afghan Christian convert Abdul Rahman is free after the uproar over his trial reached fever pitch last week. Rahman was freed when prosecutors concluded that he is "mentally unfit" to stand trial. Of course, this was little more than a convenient way for the Afghan government to get out of a tough spot, though many Muslim citizens aren't happy. Italy has offered asylum, and announced that Rahman did indeed arrive safely in Rome, though his location remains a secret. This episode is a very poor reflection on "reformed" Afghanistan more than four years after the ouster of the Taliban." (Emphasis mine - H.H.)
