African Leaders’ Reluctance to Retire Seen as Threat to Democracy
Nairobi, Kenya – Democratic gains in Africa may be at risk because of “third term” syndrome – efforts by some leaders to amend constitutions to extend their tenures in office...

This is a problem I have noted before. Democracy doesn't come easy; once a leader is elected in to power, there is no guarantee, he will remove himself from office when his term/terms is/are up.

Democracy is so much more than the mere physical act of voting.
