vkyjnbWhat a ridicules argument the Dem's and RINO’s are making when they insist that a ‘comprehensive’ immigrant bill addressing both border control and current illegal's must be passed all at once. No ‘comprehensive’ immigrant bill or policy that does not include better border control can possibly work. Since better border control must be a part of any viable immigration policy, there is no reason to wait before implementing it until you can also decide what to do with all of the illegal’s already in the country.
When I was but a lad my father read to us a question from an IQ test published in the Readers Digest. The question speculated that if you returned home from vacation to discover that a laundry faucet had been left on, the drain hadconsequently become plugged and the basement was flooded with all of you things floating about, what is the first thing you should do? Even at that tender age, the obvious and correct answer to me was; turn the water off! Now it appears that the correct answer would be to assemble a comprehensive plan that also included what you will do about the plugged up drain, how to empty the water from your flooded basement and how you propose to dry out your things, all while the water continues to flow even though no matter what else your plan contained, turning off the water must be a part of it.

Yes, it is a ridiculous argument. I believe that particular argument is just cover for the politicians.
By pushing their so-called comprehensive immigration reform, there will be too many issues and therefore too many arguments, resulting in inaction and thus no reform, which would delight them; or, what we will get will be such a cumbersome and ineffective pile of garbage with a lot of mealy-mouthed provisions that the average citizen won't understand and if he did, it would make him go ballistic because of all the rights and entitlements given to immigrants whether illegal or not.
