ARE YOU PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN?
A recent Gallup poll shows that 83 percent of a group it surveyed said they are very proud or extremely proud of being an American.
A recent Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll shows 24 percent of Democrats saying they would leave the United States (permanently) if given the opportunity.

Could we take up a collection for the 24%? We need to help them out. This would really improve our nation overall.

Well, yes, that would be good. But they said they only needed an opportunity.
And as I see it, there are an awful lot of countries out there that are far behind the U.S. in development and could use American ingenuity.
There should be a lot of job opportunities available and entrepreneurial opportunities as well.
Our dear friends may only need a nudge to make their leap of faith. I am tired of giving them my money and really would have to part with more to get them out the door.
(But, I could be convinced.)

We are such a kind and giving nation. Perhaps we could help them pack.
I once had an employee under me who I didn't really like. The company wouldn't get rid of him. He not only was a poor worker but he constantly borrowed money from everyone.
One day he didn't show up for work. It repeated for the week. We were all happy he was gone but each of us found he owed us money. The total sum came to $127. We decided getting rid of him was well worth the investment.
