HH says: To the Dems, winning is "coming close," and minimizing your losses. They see "moral victories" when there is no victory at all. They don't seem to know how to win anymore, certainly not in the arena of ideas. They depend on the "victim class" as their base of support and it affects their own party psyche because when it comes to all of their electoral defeats, they, the party, become the victim because it's always someone else's fault, i.e. voter fraud, voter disenfranchisement, etc. Introspection seems impossible to them.
