"€œGod willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon experience a world
without the United States and Zionism."€ -- Iran President Ahmadi-Nejad

"Americans in Iraq have found 500 sarin- and mustard-gas-filled artillery shells, live botulinum toxin, cyanide salt, and nearly two tons of uranium... Without threatening intelligence contacts and techniques, the ever-bashful Bush administration owes it to American taxpayers and our Coalition allies to unveil everything it safely can about what we really have found in Iraq."

  • That little tidbit did make it onto Hannity and Colmes the other day where the ever obfuscating Alan Colmes easily dismissed it. You see, he patiently tutored, they were ‘old’ WMD’s and so not proof of any ongoing Iraqi WMD program and anyway, being old, they had lost their potency. Stupid me, I thought the issue was whether or not Saddam had WMD’s, independent of when or by whom they were produced. I expect that distinction would have been lost on any victims. As to their shelf life, I don’t possess the scientific credentials Alan presumes, but I would have more impressed had he demonstrated the courage of his convictions by snorting a line or two from them.

  • I must, too, profess not to have the expertise Mr. Colmes has in regards to WMD's.

But I have heard others, with more knowledge than I, profess that some of these WMD's, although they do degrade, continue to be lethal.

The bigger point often overlooked is that that they were supposed to be eliminated and were not.

If he lied about this, how can we believe him that the programs were not still being run (or temporarily shelved to run again when we weren't looking)?
