Israel on high alert for massive attack
Fears terrorists will open '3rd front' alongside Gaza, Lebanon

"Aside from the usual threat of suicide bombings inside Israel, the Jewish state is on high alert after receiving information Palestinian terrorist groups are looking to open a "third front" by carrying out a massive attack "much bigger" than a suicide bombing, according to intelligence officials."

Galil Report sources in the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the so-called "military wing" of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party, said they signed a letter this week pledging to aid Hezbollah. The letter – also signed by the leaders of Islamic Jihad, Hamas and the Popular Resistance Committees terrorist groups – promises attacks against Israel. It states Palestinian groups are ready to coordinate "resistance activities" to coincide with Hezbollah operations.

The Al Aqsa sources said Palestinian terrorist groups would attempt a "big attack" inside Israel.

The Galil Report has learned Israel last week thwarted a large-scale bombing after it arrested members of Hamas and the Popular Resistance Committees crossing into the country from Jordan. The terrorists had planned to carry out an attack in the south of the country, possibly against a hotel in Eilat or on the Dead Sea."
