Report calls for 'rethinking how UK views Muslim radicals'
LONDON -- "A restricted intelligence report to be submitted to the European Union has identified Britain as still a key base for terrorists to plan and launch attacks against the world.
The report has been prepared by intelligence advisers to a number of EU countries. One of those involved described the report's conclusions as: 'Very sensitive. The conclusions call for a rethinking of how the United Kingdom views its Muslim radicals, while at the same time not losing further ground within the overall Muslim community.'
He confirmed: 'Virtually every terrorist attack in the past 10 years has a direct link to the United Kingdom. The increasing number of those involved are British-born terrorists. Well educated at some of Britain's best schools, they have been quick to embrace the latest information technology to achieve their goals. It was these post-graduate students who have launched asymmetric warfare to spread their messages of hate across cyberspace.' "
