Hezbollah setting up West Bank rocket infrastructure
The Galil Report
"Fresh from launching hundreds of rockets a day at northern Israeli communities, Hezbollah now is helping Palestinian terror groups create an advanced rocket infrastructure in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip, according to Egyptian security officials.
Hezbollah's smuggling routes are well known in the Gaza Strip. The Lebanese group, working with Palestinian terror organizations, has managed to bring hundreds of Katyusha rockets with ranges of up to 25 miles into Gaza, according to Egyptian, Israeli and Palestinian security officials.
Hezbollah maintains cells in Gaza and in the neighboring Sinai desert that help smuggle in weapons; finance and coordinate terror attacks; and train Palestinian groups in guerilla warfare tactics and in the use of rockets and other advanced weapons.
Israel last week killed two Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorists in Nablus in northern Samaria who were setting up a rocket infrastructure there. The two terrorists worked for Abu Oudai, Al Aqsa's rocket master.Sources close to the Brigades claimed the group has several advanced versions of the Qassam in and near Jenin.
Abu Oudai told the Galil Report his organization in northern Samaria has developed a new kind of rocket named after late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat that can reach major Israeli cities.
"The Arafat (rocket) can reach every goal we want all over the enemy state," Abu Oudai said. "I don't need to tell you that the aerial distance from Jenin to Netanya, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and other cities is not big without telling what are all our plans concerning hitting Israeli settlements (in Judea and Samaria). We can reach any point inside Israel, but I will not mention what are the regions we are ready to shoot from."
