"U.S. Ambassador William Burns told the service that five years after 9/11 and two years after the Beslan school siege in southern Russia, terrorism remained a real threat, and cooperation in the fight against it was 'very important' for both nations and for the world.

Russia sent a gift to Bayonne, N.J. -- a 175-ton bronze monument built around a 40-foot steel teardrop to commemorate 9/11 victims."
