Arroyo calls North Korea ‘irrational’

NANNING CITY, China (via PLDT/Smart)—"President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo yesterday described the North Korean government as “irrational” for conducting an underground nuclear test and refusing to return to Six-Party Talks.
The President raised Pyongyang’s refusal to give up its nuclear enrichment program during her meeting with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at the Li Yuan Hotel here.
“The President has informed Chinese Premier Wen that the Philippines will support fully the United Nations Security Council to address the irrational behavior of North Korea. She also said that China will play a key role in resolving the issue,” Presidential Spokesman Ignacio Bunye said in an interview after the meeting." Continue.
