Islamist Fighters Retreat in Somalia

Islamist radicals, many of them exports from outside the region, retreated from Mogadishu, Somalia, Tuesday, amid the advance of forces loyal to the United Nations recognized Somali government and allied Ethiopian troops. Even in their retreat, the Islamist fighters promised a "new phase" in their war, heightening the threat of suicide attacks. Read more.
