Just another example of Liberals presuming themselves to be better arbiters of value than is the free market. They are not, which is why price controls do not work, whether they are intended to control the price of products or that of labor.
But then again, Liberals pressume themselves to be better arbiters of what the U.S. Constitution says than is its’ actual text so what should we expect?

Condescension and the sense of superiority, I consider to be two common traits that liberals have in common with each other, patrticularly those in Congress.
Indeed there are those Republicans who have these traits as well. In general, people who run for political office have these traits along with a sense of power and control that needs to be fed...a sense that they are the smartest in the room and only they can solve our problems.
Trouble is, the liberals have this sickness to the degree that it is dangerous to us all.
