North Korea accuses U.S. of conducting practice aerial strikes

SEOUL, South Korea: North Korea on Saturday accused the U.S. of carrying out aerial exercises to practice strikes on targets in the country.

The North's Korean Central News Agency said the exercises were conducted over South Korea, but were meant as practice runs for possible aerial attacks against North Korea.

"Strategic bombers of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces staged a DPRK-targeted madcap air strike exercise" on Friday, KCNA reported, citing an unidentified military source, and using the acronym of the North's official name, the Democratic Peoples' Republic of Korea. READ ON.
