Not a Betting Man, I Guess

Scott Armstrong, a marketing professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton business school, who is an internationally known expert on forecasting methods, believes that most climate change forecasts use bad forecasting methodology and further believes Al Gore is wrong about global warming. He has challenged Algore and Algore's prediction of global warming temperature increases, and is willing to bet $10,000 that Algore is wrong.

Armstroing believes that temperatures will basically stay the same; and that is his wager.

The $10,000 would go to charity. But at this time, Algore has yet to respond.
