Pentagon: Hillary Boosting Enemy Propaganda: "The Pentagon has issued a stinging rebuke to Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton, arguing that she is boosting enemy propaganda by asking how the U.S. plans to eventually withdraw from Iraq."

  • It’s misleading to suggest that “the Pentagon told Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton that her questions about how the U.S. plans to eventually withdraw from Iraq boosts enemy propaganda” when actually it was Eric Edelman who said it. You think the whole Pentagon unanimously agrees with him?

Aside from that it’s a ridiculous thing to say. Who would have thought that “our enemies” who “hate our freedoms” are “boost[ed]” because the US is a democracy which tolerates (and supposedly encourages debate).

Is Edelman saying that we need to become an Islamic theocracy (no freedom of speech) to beat “our enemies”?
