Well, of course they are. They are simply blinded to it by their own intransigent and self-righteous conviction that their leftist ideology is right/correct. They seem to believe that the intensity of their conviction lends weight to their ‘argument’. But then, they historically share that belief with all tyrants. The Nazi did not understand themselves to be the bad guys. They believed they were savings Europe. Holding ones convictions deeply does not strengthen positions but it does allow excesses in promoting them.
