Bhutto's Death Does Not Benefit Musharraf

Conspiracy-believers abound everywhere. Pakistan is no exception. It's hard to see just how Musharraf would benefit from Bhutto's death. It's doubtful he had a hand in this assassination.

Chaos in his country where his popularity was already waning makes things even more unsettled and dangerous than it was prior to her death.

Musharraf needs more control and stability -- not less.
