We need to be like everyone else..... we want a plan like everyone else has ... it matters not that "the plan" does not work .... it is more important to join the ranks.....

Langevin insurance plan aims to cover all Americans

As the Democratic presidential candidates tout their plans for reforming the health-care system, U.S. Rep. Jim Langevin, also a Democrat, yesterday entered the fray with a proposal of his own.

Langevin wants to provide coverage for all Americans through a system modeled after the program that provides health benefits to federal employees.

His co-sponsor on the bill is a Connecticut Republican, Rep. Christopher Shays, and he called their plan the first bipartisan health-care proposal to emerge from the U.S. House.
