Yes, conservative Silvio Berlusconi is back in power in Italy, winning in his re-election bid, although it has gone largely unnoticed by the old liberal media.

Times Watch notes, however, that the New York Times does cover the story. Times Watch says:

Oh no, not him again: "Silvio Berlusconi, the idiosyncratic billionaire who already dominates much of Italy's public life, snatched back political power in elections that ended Monday...the least bad choice...."

To the lefts' dismay, America-loving Berlusconi has returned to power. Damn.
