SPENDING AMENDMENT

Rep. Michelle Bachmann, a great conservative from the state of Minnesota - the state of 10,000 taxes - is shown here at a press conference where she announces a constitutional amendment - which she is co-sponsoring.

The goal is of course to curb spending and eliminate wasteful government spending. No small task, indeed; but a worthy goal, nontheless.

In a nut-shell, the amendment would make certain that the growth in government spending would not outpace the growth of our economy.
