Baracks ever changing position on the economy and taxes

Sunday, Barack was on with George Stephanopoulos and George was grilling him about the economy and taxes. When George asked Barack if he was going to raise taxes even if the economy was weak and stumbling, Barack replied, no, no, no.

He went on to state that he wanted to accelerate the tax cuts through another cash stimulus package and get the money back into the hands of the consumer.

My first reaction was that Barack just shot holes (unwittingly, I'm sure) in the Dems normal default position on taxes, and acknowledged that taxes are harmful to the economy. And as we know, there was never a tax that the Democrats don't like.

Today the Wall Street Journal dissects this point in an article Obama Tax 3.0. Go read it.
