Pakistani Ambassador Says Foreign Troops 'Never' Will Be Allowed in His Country
Just two days after the U.S. military conducted a raid on Pakistani territory across the border from Afghanistan, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States told CNSNews.com that his country would “never” allow foreign troops to operate on Pakistani soil. Haqqani said Pakistan is able to fight the terrorists on its own, adding that the war on terror probably won’t be resolved in the “short-term.”
