Iran, Qatar And Russia take gas cartel plan to second stage

ABU DHABI — Iran, Qatar and Russia have reconvened their talks on the formation of a natural gas cartel.

The three countries, the top gas producers in the world, began an energy summit on Nov. 12 in the Qatari capital of Doha, Middle East Newsline reported. Officials said the key issue was an examination of the technical details required for the formation of a gas cartel modeled on OPEC.
