A Night Out

My son, HeavyHanded Jr., a junior in high school, had been selected to the all-conference honors choir. Last night they had their concert. The choir was first to perform. After completing their songs, they were followed by the orchestra, and then the full band.

The performance was quite good actually. I enjoyed the entire musical evening. It was impressive to see so many young singers come together from all over the area and sing 5 songs so well with just one day of practice.

The same must be said of course for those in the orchestra and the band.

HeavyHanded Jr. got out of school the whole day and spent the entire day practicing with the choir for their evening performance. HH Jr. said he had a great time. That makes two of us.
