THE NEVER ENDING CAMPAIGN

Barack is in perpetual campaign mode. His campaign has never come to an end. First and foremost it was for the U. S. presidency - but he cannot stop. It is too exhilarating for him and he needs the adulation.

There are other peoples and other countries that he must pander to in order to massage his massive ego.

John Kinsellagh writes in his column Obama's European trip: for our president, the campaign never ends,

"For Obama, it's as if the history of our relations with the Continent began with the election of the "cowboy unilateralist" George Bush and now have ended with his ascension to the presidency. Nothing that has transpired before or since has any significance.
