Obama loses support on reform

Mayo Clinic calls House plan bad medicine
Washington Times
"A world-renowned clinic that President Obama held up as an example of good medicine said Monday that the American people would be "losers" under the House's health care proposal, joining the growing chorus of critics the Obama administration is trying to fend off as the debate intensifies from Capitol Hill to Main Street."

We arguably have the best health care system in the world. We are responsible for most of the technological advancements, advancements in treatment, and drug discoveries. There is a cost to this. Our health care has become expensive, and continues to escalate. We need to address the problem.

No matter what the changes are, our system will not be perfect. Nothing ever is. But Obama does not want to fix it. He wants to destroy it, blow it up. And start over, and make it in the image of the failed European and Canadian socialist models.

I can't help but be reminded of his famous quote leading up to the election:
"America's the greatest country in the world - now help me change it"

  • The liberal media tried to spin the few good points and avoid the bad part. My mother-in-law couldn't figure out how the Mayo could like it. I pointed her to this article.
