U.S. TOPS FOR HEALTH CARE SPENDING
A recent report published by the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) shows the United States spends more on heath care than any other country. In 2007, U.S. spending was $7,290 per capita, nearly two-and-a-half times the OECD average of $2,984 for other countries, says Sarah McIntosh.
