The Bible was found to have contributed directly to 34% of all the quotes by the Founding Fathers. This discovery was made after studying 15,000 items which included newspaper articles, books, pamphlets, etc.

The other main sources that the Founding Fathers quoted were, Montesquieu, Locke, Blackstone, Pufendorf, and others, who in turn, themselves, took 60% of their quotes directly from the Bible.

Therefore, the majority of the quotes (both direct and indirect) of our Founding Fathers have their origins from the Bible.
