TO ANOTMO

SPEAKING OF LYING EYES.......I bet you did not see these, I know I did not. Could our eyes be lying to us?

  • Thanks Heavy-handed. That started off my day much better than otherwise. Can you imagine the impact on the public mood regarding Irag/Bush were such pictures routinely published. The MSM surely can which is why they aren't.

Saw parts of the recent special on 9/11 and was shocked once again at the images themselves and the fact that we so seldom see them. Other side of the same coin; don't show what we are doing for the Iraqi's, don't show what the terrorists did and continue to do to us.

Too graphic, say the MSM; sawing off heads with short knifes and all. Too inflamatory. Yet they publich every image they can find on our 'abuse' of prisoners. Apparently those are not too graphic or inflamatory.

Explain to me then, how the MSM can contend there is some sort of moral equivalency between the two! I quite resent being presummed so stupid that I will not see through their sophomoric and vacuace rationale.

    Anyway, thanks again. Most refreshing

  • 'Tis indeed a good point - the supposed moral equivalency of the two situations - yet one is too inflamatory to show the "shocking photos, and the other is not.

There is no clear logical explanation for this other than a blatant effort to engage in media driven propaganda.

  • I see you have deleted that unintelligible drivel that had previously been posted here three times. What was that all about? At first I was delighted to think another contributor had joined us. Then, when the comment made absolutely no sense what-so-ever, I just figured the new contributor was a Liberal. But that could not be as it was not just a collection of tired uncreative politically correct notions strung randomly together. Curiouser and curiouser.

  • Yeh, it wasn't worth my time to try and figure out "the code". Someone who got their tinfoil hat too close to the power source, I suspect.
