After years of stonewalling, Big Labor lost a Big Battle recently. New federal rules pushed through by Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao force unions to disclose in much more detail how they spend members' dues. It's no secret why Big Labor fought the change so hard: Unions provide a fat living for the fat cats running them and are a de-facto money house for the loony left.

The National "Education" Association is a prime example. Reg Weaver, the union's president, draws $439,000 a year. The NEA's $58-million payroll for just over 600 employees, includes more than half who draw six-figure salaries.
