Hastert Asks FBI for Documents From Jefferson Raid
The documents were asked for. The request was turned down. A warrant was requested from a judge, and one was gotten. You know what warrants are, right? Those are the "things" that everyone is up in arms over because they were not gotten for the "eavesdropping" program by the NSA and has caused such a tumult.
To think that a crime could be committed by someone in Congress and all they would have to do is hide the evidence in "their office," and thereby get away with said crime, is preposterous and insulting. Oh, and by the way, it is not "your office." It belongs to the people. We, the people. You are on the public's dole. And we are letting you use that office space temporarily until we see fit; meaning until we decide to throw your ass out. It's getting close to that time.
"To take a single step beyond the boundaries thus specially drawn around the powers of Congress [in the Constitution], is to take possession of a boundless field of power, not longer susceptible of any definition." —Thomas Jefferson
