'Expel Sudan from the UN'

"Sudan should be suspended from the United Nations and eventually expelled if it continues to defy U.N. resolutions and international human rights law with its abuses in Darfur, a non-governmental organization said Tuesday"

  • How about expelling any nation that does nor comply with U.N. resolutions; like Iran, North Korea, Iraq,..., That would at least give some bite to U.N. resolutions, particularly for such nations as abuse their position in the U.N. to get what they otherwise can not. I see no sense in continuing membership in an organization to those of its members who do not comply with that organizations efforts

  • I understand your frustration, believe me. As to your suggestion about giving the boot to nations that don't comply with resolutions, does not Israel have a lot of resolutions (they are all worthless crap, but resolutions nonetheless) that have been forced down their throat that Israel has shrugged off (rightly so I might add)?

That would mean that Israel would be forced out of the UN.

How about having it go the same route as the League of Nations?
