On a personal note, a friend of mine and his wife had their second child in August. The baby is doing fine, but sadly the mother had complications and had been in and out of the hospital since the delivery. Things took a turn for the worse and was in the ICU and lost her battle. She was pronounced brain dead. The funeral is Friday.

It is just shocking, how these things can still happen. It is a very sad day. Shock, grief, perplexity .. just so many various emotions all garbled together.

I got back from the funeral that was held today. Such a tragedy. It's still hard to believe. Man. I could not believe the number of people at the funeral. She was a music teacher ... taught high school band .... and obviosuly touched alot of lives.
