Left Smears War Hero Judicial Nominee
"What they lack in originality they make up for in audacity. Once again, obstructionism is the name of the game as Senate liberals use the same tired playbook to block President Bush’s judicial nominees. They have their marching orders from the usual suspects — Moveon.org, the ACLU, the Human Rights Campaign, People for the American Way, yada, yada — and predictably, Senate liberals are dutifully obedient. Since taking control six months ago Democrats have approved a whopping three appellate court judges. They’re not just dragging their feet; they’ve firmly planted them.

Well, H-H, those obstructionist, oppose and condemn anything and everything this President does tactics has brought the Democrats back to power and they will continue doing it through the next Presidential election. If it fails, they may or may not change, probably not as they have no ideas of their own. If it succeeds it will be interesting to see how they continue it against a minority party without power. At some point, one retains faith that the American people will ultimately judge them for what they either have or have not done rather than on the hubris they spew upon their opposition.

Yes. Yes.
I am frustrated with our clowns in Washington ... not limited to the Dems.
During the majority of the time, when things don't "get done", I think it is a good thing. Gridlock can be good.
But my gut feel is that this tactic "of obstructionism and condemning anything and everything" will carry them through at least the next election.
If they control all three, Senate, House, and Presidency, I fear what these out of control moon bats will do.
One can only hope that:
(1) The senate remains a small majority
(2) The Repubs have the fortitude to play the same obstructionist game.
