UNIVERSAL CHILD CARE

Is there too much government meddling on how we need to raise our children? Does it really "take a village" to raise a child?

My answers are "yes" and "no" - in that order.

Phyllis Schlafly says "there seem to be many busybodies who believe that "the village," i.e., government functionaries, should make major decisions about the upbringing of children, including what they are taught and how they are medicated."

Go read her column Universal Child Care Poses Threat to Parental Rights.
