Sen. Jim McDermott

After losing his case, the big lib senator, Sen. Jim McDermott from Washington was ordered to pay over one million dollars to House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) to cover legal fees for the 10 year legal battle stemming from the illegally taped phone conversation which was then leaked to the press.

So let's see. He came into possession of an illegally taped phone conversation. He leaked it to the press. He was taken to court for this illegal act. He lost the court case and the appeal and will not appeal again, he claims. He was ordered to pay for the legal fees of the damaged party .. a sum of over one million dollars mind you.

And this is his response:

“It’s dead. We’re just cleaning up after the parade. We saved the First Amendment, and it costs a piece of change, but that’s life in the big leagues.”

Scumbag.
