Playing the race card --- AGAIN

Obama Plays the Race Card

Campaigning in Florida last week, Barack Obama asserted that the Republicans would use racism in the fall campaign. He said we should expect to hear this from McCain?s campaign. [Obama]:"He's got a funny name. Did I mention he?s black?"

This is a slander and an outrageous one. No Republican leader and certainly not Senator McCain have stooped to such tactics and they won't. The only one playing a quote race card is Barack Obama himself, and it is a repulsive bit of victim politics combined with Chicago hardball/sleazeball.

If John McCain ever did use race in his campaign, we'd condemn it, but thus far the only candidate to appeal to resort to race-based politics is Barack Obama
