The Palin Success Story

"I said that Sarah Palin is the most remarkable success story in the history of American politics. Some of the main stream media took issue with that. Said I was putting her ahead of George Washington winning the Revolutionary War and Abraham Lincoln freeing the slaves. I didn't realize that they thought that winning the Revolutionary War and freeing the slaves were political events.

Now, this women went from the PTA to becoming the vice presidential nominee, along the way she won the governor's office, took on the entrenched powers, including the big oil companies, her own state party chairman, an incumbent Republican governor, beating them, while reforming the energy policies for Alaska, and helping the entire nation.

Had she'd been a liberal woman doing all of this the main stream media would be fighting among themselves to get the television rights to her story.

So, I stick my by story."

Wow. That's about as much as I can say. Wow. I'm dumbstruck that the media is so moronic. The media elites think the Revolutionary War and the Civil War (i.e. ending slavery) were political events? Wow. These are the gatekeepers of news and insight? Pathetic. Everyday they set new lows. (Bold emphasis mine. -HH)
