Will Democrats Reinstate Offshore Drilling Ban?

Oil and natural gas industry officials were cautiously optimistic about their prospects Sept. 23 after House Democrats allowed an offshore drilling ban to expire. After three and a half months of waiting for assurances from members of Congress, it appears those same officials might be on the verge of seeing their worst fears come true.
