Israel Warns Syria: Stop Arms Transfer

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's office, passed a warning to Damascus, through Jordan and Egyptian diplomats, that they could attack Syria if they continue facilitating weapons transfers to Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Additionally, Israel says Syria has served as a meeting ground for Hezbollah and Iranian agents to communicate and direct operations in Lebanon.

Yesterday two Hezbollah-bound trucks carrying weapons and ammunition were attacked while driving through Lebanon after having crossed the border from Syria.
