Organization's emergency relief coordinator says he's shocked by 'horrific' sights in Beirut's devastated quarters, accuses Israel of breaching law.
"It is costing too many lives and it will not lead to a solution in the south. There is no military solution to these things, it is only a political solution," says Unseemly Nations envoy, Jan Egeland.
Ahhhhhhhhhh, yes. 'If only you would stop trying to eliminate us from the face of the earth, we could be good friends.' Afterall, it's just "political," so says Mr. Egeland, the grand pooba of appeasement.
