MONEY TALKS IN D.C.

Don Surber aptly points out NARAL Rents A Seat At The Alito Hearing.

He asks, "Is NARAL pulling its own Jack Ambramoff?"

Kate Michelman of NARAL was not only at the hearings, she particpated in it. What was she doing there at the hearings testifying along with judges and attorneys? How did she pull this off?

"Simple," says Surber. "NARAL bought her way into that hearing chamber. It has given $5,000 this year to the re-election campaign of Ted Kennedy"
In the 2004 campaign, NARAL gave $9,000 to Russ Feingold -- Mr. Campaign Finance Reform himself! $9,000 and NARAL just happens to get to testify at every judiciary committee hearing on Supreme Court justices. Ted got another $5,000 in 2004.
Campaign finance reform is beginning to look about as successful as was prohibition.
